WAV files are uncompressed, so size depends on duration, sample rate, and channels. As a rough guide for 16-bit mono WAV at 48kHz: 1 minute ≈ 5.6 MB, 5 minutes ≈ 28 MB, 30 minutes ≈ 168 MB. For stereo, double these numbers. If you need smaller files, consider converting the WAV to MP3 or AAC using a separate converter tool after downloading.

This tool is designed for microphone recording only. To record system audio (like music streaming, YouTube videos, or game sounds), you would need a tool that captures your system's audio output, such as Audacity with loopback drivers, or a dedicated screen/audio recorder. Some browsers also support capturing tab audio via getDisplayMedia(), but that's a different workflow.
