However, if the metadata is also fully encrypted, the tool will indicate that the page count could not be determined.

The tool supports all major PDF versions including PDF 1.0 through PDF 2.0, as well as linearized (web-optimized) PDFs, PDF/A archival formats, and most PDF/X print-ready formats. The PDF version is detected from the file header and displayed alongside each file for your reference.
