Pixel Pet is a browser-based virtual pet inspired by the classic Tamagotchi toys from the 90s. Keep your digital friend alive by feeding, playing, and cleaning it regularly!

Monitor the three stats: Hunger, Happiness, and Hygiene. Use the buttons below the pet to fill the bars. If any stat drops to zero, your pixel friend becomes sad and eventually... perishes. But you can always reset!

Every second, hunger drops by 0.2, happiness by 0.15, and hygiene by 0.1. That means you'll need to interact roughly every 5–8 minutes to keep everything in balance. It's a relaxing pace – just like the original!

Currently Pixel Pet shows different expressions based on well-being, but an evolution system is coming soon! Good care might unlock special pixel forms.

Absolutely! The layout adapts to any screen size. All buttons are large enough for touch, and the pixel canvas scales down gracefully on phones.

Tamagotchi was created by Bandai in 1996 in Japan. The name combines "tamago" (egg) and "watch." Over 82 million units have been sold worldwide, making it one of the most iconic virtual pet brands ever.
