Wordle Solver / Helper - Online Filter Possible Words

Enter the letters from your Wordle guess into the 5 position slots. For each letter, click the color dot to match the feedback: Green if the letter is in the correct spot, Yellow if it's in the word but wrong spot, Gray if it's not in the word at all. Add any extra known letters in the "Must Include" field. The tool instantly filters all possible 5-letter words.

The solver intelligently tracks duplicate letters. If the same letter appears as both Green and Yellow across different positions, it knows the word must contain at least that many occurrences. If a letter is marked Gray but also appears as Green/Yellow elsewhere, it only excludes that specific position — not the letter entirely. This mirrors Wordle's actual logic.

The solver uses a curated list of common 5-letter English words that are most likely to appear in Wordle. The list includes words from the official Wordle answer set and other common 5-letter words. It covers the vast majority of daily Wordle answers.

Yes! Click the "Show Letter Frequency" button to see which letters appear most often in each position among the remaining possible words. This helps you choose a strategic next guess that maximizes information gain. The frequency bars make it easy to spot patterns at a glance.

Start with a word containing common vowels (A, E) and consonants (R, S, T, N, L). Use the solver's letter frequency panel to identify which letters give you the most information. After each guess, update all the clues — include Gray letters to narrow things down faster. The "Suggest Next Guess" button picks a word that covers the most common remaining letters.
