Turn dull meetings into a game! Spot the clichés, mark your card, and shout BINGO!
Click any cell to mark it during your meeting. The center FREE space is yours from the start.
Conference Bingo is a fun, interactive game that transforms mundane meetings into engaging experiences. Each player receives a 5×5 bingo card filled with common meeting clichés, buzzwords, and predictable phrases — like "You're on mute!" or "Let's circle back on that." During the meeting, when someone says one of the phrases on your card, you mark that cell. The center cell is a FREE space (always marked). The first person to complete a row, column, or diagonal line of 5 marked cells wins — shouting "BINGO!" is highly encouraged (though maybe on mute 😉). It's a great icebreaker, keeps remote teams engaged, and adds a spark of humor to otherwise routine calls.
Absolutely! Select the "Custom Phrases..." option from the Cliché Collection dropdown. You can enter any phrases you like — team inside jokes, department-specific jargon, or phrases unique to your company culture. Just make sure you provide at least 24 unique phrases (one per line). The generator will randomly select 24 and shuffle them across your card(s). This is perfect for tailoring the game to your specific team or recurring meeting where certain phrases always pop up.
You can generate 1, 2, or 4 unique cards at a time using the "Number of Cards" selector. Each card uses the same pool of 24 selected phrases but arranges them differently — so every player gets a distinct card. This means no two players will have the same layout, keeping the game fair and competitive. If you need more than 4 cards, simply click "Generate New Cards" again to create additional unique sets. Pro tip: generate and print multiple cards before your meeting to hand out (physically or virtually) to all participants.
Our curated collections include some of the most universally recognized meeting clichés. Favorites from the General Business set include: "Let's circle back," "Think outside the box," "At the end of the day," and "It is what it is." The Zoom/Teams collection features gems like "You're on mute!" (a timeless classic), "Can everyone see my screen?", and "Sorry, I was on mute." For Agile teams, expect "Any blockers?", "Let's timebox this," and "Definition of done." Each category contains 25–35 hand-picked phrases that resonate with anyone who's sat through their fair share of meetings.
Yes — and it's actually more fun in virtual meetings! The Zoom/Teams Virtual Calls category is specifically designed for remote meetings, with phrases like "You're breaking up," "Can you put that in the chat?", and "I'll record this session." You can play individually (marking your own digital card on screen) or competitively with colleagues — each person opens the generator, selects the same category, and generates their own card. For an extra layer of fun, share your screen when someone gets BINGO to prove your winning line. The tool works perfectly on desktop and mobile, so you can mark cells discreetly during calls.
Printing is simple! Click the "Print Cards" button to open your browser's print dialog. The print layout is optimized — control buttons disappear, and cards are rendered with clean black borders on a white background, perfect for physical handouts. For best results, generate 4 cards and print them on a single A4 or Letter-sized sheet (they'll arrange in a 2×2 grid). If you want blank cards (without any pre-marked cells), click "Clear Marks" before printing. This way, everyone gets a fresh card to mark with pens or highlighters during the meeting.
Yes! The tool automatically checks for completed lines every time you mark a cell. When you complete any row, column, or diagonal (including the center FREE space), the winning cells will glow with a golden pulse animation, and a celebratory "BINGO!" badge appears above your card. A toast notification also slides in to confirm your victory. The detection tracks all possible lines — horizontal (5 rows), vertical (5 columns), and both diagonals — for a total of 12 possible winning patterns. If you complete multiple lines, each one is highlighted and counted separately. Your BINGO count stays visible so you can aim for a "full house" if you're feeling ambitious!
Yes, completely free! This Conference Bingo Generator is a free online tool with no registration required, no ads cluttering your experience, and no limits on how many cards you can generate. Whether you're using it for a one-off team meeting, a multi-day conference, or just to survive another quarterly all-hands, it's always free. The tool runs entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server, ensuring your privacy. Share it with colleagues, bookmark it for your next meeting, and make those clichés count!
