If the image needs to be scaled up significantly to fit the target dimensions, some softening may occur. You can adjust the JPEG quality slider (10–100%) to balance file size and visual quality. The 3×3 position grid lets you place your image anywhere within the padded canvas. Center (default) places the image exactly in the middle with equal padding on all sides. Top-Left aligns the image to the top-left corner with all padding on the right and bottom. This happens when your original image's aspect ratio is very different from the target dimensions. For example, a wide panorama (16:9) placed into a square (1:1) canvas will have significant padding on the top and bottom. The image is scaled to fit entirely within the target area without cropping, so larger aspect ratio mismatches result in more visible padding. Try choosing target dimensions closer to your original image's proportions, or use the position options to create an intentional design.

Currently, this tool processes one image at a time to give you full control over each output's settings — dimensions, padding color, position, and format. For batch processing, you would need to process images individually. However, you can quickly reuse the same settings across multiple images by keeping the tool open and swapping the uploaded file.
