Satellite imagery is captured by Earth-orbiting satellites at altitudes of 200–800+ km, providing broad coverage and consistent revisit times. Aerial imagery is taken from aircraft or drones at lower altitudes (typically 300m–5km), offering higher detail but covering smaller areas. Our curator includes both types, celebrating Earth from every perspective.
