An isometric cube is a 2D representation of a 3D cube using isometric projection, where the three visible faces are drawn at 30-degree angles to the horizontal. Unlike perspective projection, isometric projection has no vanishing point — parallel lines remain parallel. This makes it ideal for technical drawings, pixel art, game assets, and architectural diagrams where measurements need to remain consistent across the scene.

For natural-looking lighting, follow the "top-bright, left-mid, right-dark" rule assuming a light source from the upper-left. The top face should be the lightest shade, the left face a medium shade (about 15-25% darker than top), and the right face the darkest (about 30-45% darker than top).
